It’s #TBT and time for a vintage podcast episode. This one originally went up in May of 2014 but it’s still hella relevant. Not a week goes by where I don’t reference Al Vernacchio’s work, including his TED talk or his book on talking to kids about sex.
If there are such things as rock stars in the field of sexuality education, Al Vernacchio is perhaps the Joni Mitchell: there might be others whom you see on TV more often, but his influence is iconic and revered by those in the industry. Or maybe he’s the Freddie Mercury: multi-talented, but ultimately remembered for the way he makes everybody feel bubbly and happy. Or he could be the Dr. Dre: the game will never be the same after he touches it.
